What We Believe
-
We believe the Bible is inspired, true, and our final authority. God is one, yet reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Scriptures Inspired . The Bible is God-breathed and completely trustworthy. It reveals who He is and how we are to live. (2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:21)
The One True God There is only one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose again, ascended into heaven, and will return. (Matthew 1:23; Acts 1:9–11)
-
Every person is deeply loved by God but separated from Him by sin. Salvation is found only through Jesus.
The Fall of Man . Humanity was created good, but chose sin, which brought separation from God. (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 5:12–19)
The Salvation of Man . We are saved by grace through faith. Salvation is a free gift received through repentance and belief in Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)
Sanctification . Sanctification is the Spirit-led journey of becoming more like Jesus every day. (Romans 12:1–2; Hebrews 12:14)
-
We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit today. He empowers believers to live boldly and serve faithfully.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit . This experience empowers believers for effective witness and service, as seen in the early Church. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)
The Initial Physical Evidence Speaking in tongues is the initial outward sign of Spirit baptism, as seen in Acts. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46)
-
The Church is the body of Christ — called to worship, disciple,
and go into all the world with the Gospel. The Church and Its Mission . The Church exists to evangelize the lost, disciple believers, worship God, and show compassion. (Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–16)
The Ministry . God calls and equips leaders to build up the Church and lead others into maturity in Christ. (Ephesians 4:11–13; Mark 16:15–20)
The Ordinances of the Church . We observe two ordinances:
a. Water Baptism by immersion after salvation.
b. Holy Communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:26)
-
We believe God still heals today. We believe Jesus is coming again, and eternity is real.
Divine Healing . Healing is provided in Christ’s atonement and is available for all who believe. (Isaiah 53:4–5; James 5:14–16)
The Blessed Hope . Jesus will return for His Church — this is our blessed hope. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:13)
The Millennial Reign of Christ. After His return, Jesus will reign on earth for 1,000 years, bringing peace and justice. (Revelation 20:1–6)
The Final Judgment. All will stand before God. Those whose names are not in the Book of Life will be separated from Him forever. (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11–15)
The New Heavens and New Earth . God will create a new heaven and a new earth where believers will dwell with Him forever. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1–4)
